Good Morning, Miss Joy!
I am just writing to thank you again for recommending ME to Ben to adopt for my new Mama, Fran Hohenstein. It is a perfect match and we are both very, very happy together. We do everything together and on my grooming dates, my mama can’t wait to get me back so Miss Salli lets her pick me up in just two hours.
We will celebrate my first year here in my new “forever home” on Thursday, May 6th. I call that my “birthday” – the start of my new life. I expect to celebrate many additional birthdays in my new “forever home”.
We both appreciate you telling Ben about me – my being cripple is not a problem for me or for my Mama. We love each other very much. I am truly grateful to you for suggesting me to Ben. Hope you and all your little and big animals there are doing good. Hope to see you sometime when you are in Savannah.
Love,
Coco Hohenstein and his Mama

Joy,
Thank you so much for taking the time to help me adopt Paris last Friday. I know you were very busy getting ready for your event on Saturday, so I greatly appreciate you helping me J
Paris, now named Penny J is doing very well in her new home. Her and I have been working on housetraining, and she’s doing great. I’m also helping her to feel comfortable being in her crate. I’ve been very consistent, and have been reinforcing her positive behavior, and she is making my job easy by learning very quickly. I’ve been trying to slowly get her introduced to more and more people, as she’s very shy yet, but getting more comfortable.
I am so glad that I got her, and by the way she always wants to be by my side and cuddles up in my arms, I think she’s happy in her new home J I put together a website so that I can share pictures of her with my family in Minnesota. Feel free to check it out! http://pennypenny.shutterfly.com/
Thank again! Hope things are well,

Hello Joy,
I just wanted to let you know that “Brindle 2 girl lab/mix” is doing well. We have named her Dakota and she has adapted very well to our family. We got her from you in February of 2010. Dakota is very playful and loveable with our children and she loves her big sister molly who is a 5 year old boxer. She has brought happiness to molly and to our family. Thank you for saving her! I would not know what we would do without her. We love her soooo much!! and you and your team will forever be a part of our lives. Keep up the great work!
Thank you Guard!

Hello Joy & all,
I have been wanting to give you an update on Taylor/Emily/ Bridget.had to change her name from both as I have granddaughters w/ those names….Female SchnauzerA391935……
She is absolutely wonderful…..She has settled in nicely…… She can see out of the left eye now & watches things where b/4 she listened to the sounds. The right eye that was bright red has changed to her normal color brown w/ some blue. She is so strong, intelligent & willing to learn.
I recieved what I needed from your vet for Bridget to get her shots. She was great.I was so proud of her when the vet tech approached her she sat to be petted….just like I taught her. She was well behaved w/ the other dogs , loves to go for walks, loves everyone & everything. She is great w/ the cat,my other dogs. She is just plain wonderful. She has gained weight… loves her food….Eats her Vitamin E soft gels right along w/ her food daily.
I want to thank you for taking good care of her & for giving me the chance to love her & care for her…..
Hugs,
Bridget, Bob, Becky, Buffy, Brody,Pause the cat & ME ,….Marie …. the Alpha dog

We received the following story from one of your adopters and thought that you would like to see it.
Thanks again for all that you do.

I saw Sophie’s picture on Petfinder.com about a week after unexpectedly having to put down my 9-year-old pit bull/lab mix after a brief and horrible battle with aggressive prostate cancer. We weren’t really ready for another dog but our remaining dog, Spenser, had been distraught without his best friend and we were faced with the decision to either medicate him or get another dog. She has been nothing but a blessing for our family. Sophie and Spenser immediately bonded. She is in love with our newborn son – we can’t get her to stop giving him “doggie kisses.” Thank god for this website because otherwise how could we have known our perfect dog was waiting for us thousands of miles away? Thank you Petfinder.com!
